Then select settings and privacy, under the settings and privacy menu, choose the settings option that appears. From the settings, there is a privacy menu, you will see all other options out listed below.
Choose the privacy menu. There is an option which states ‘How people find and contact you’.
This menu pose questions such as;
- Who can send you friend requests?
- Who can see your friends list?
- Who can look you up using the email address you provided?
- Who can look you up using the phone number you provided?
- Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile?
Each of the questions listed above, have an Edit button. This edit button can be used to change the audience who can look up your account.
You have to make the restrictions of your telephone number and email address to be visible for you alone.
